Qiao Wen

Qiao “Anna” Wen is senior research assistant at the Community College Research Center at Teachers College, Columbia University. She conducts quantitative research on returns to higher education by degree field and institutional type, and the effects of financial aid programs on academic and labor market outcomes.

Ms. Wen is currently a doctoral student in the economics and education program at Teachers College. She received an MA in international comparative education from Stanford University and a BA with double majors in economics and English literature from Peking University in China.

Her research interests include the returns to higher education and the use of quantitative methods in evaluating the effects of educational programs.
