Do I have to register in advance?

Yes. Due to limited seating, we ask that all registrants register ahead of time. If there is room, we may accommodate walk-in registrations.

Is there a group rate?

No.

Are there modified registration rates, such as for one day only?

We offer a one-day registration rate of $150.

There are also discounted rates available on two-day registration for federal employees ($75) and students ($150).

What forms of payment do you accept?

All registration payments must be made in U.S. dollars.

CAPSEE utilizes a secure third-party processor to accept credit card payments including Discover, MasterCard, American Express, and VISA. Any personal information collected during registration will be used for billing and identification purposes only.

We also accept checks payable to Teachers College, Columbia University. Mail checks for receipt by March 23 to:

What is your cancellation policy?

To cancel your registration, a written request must be sent to CAPSEE_admin@tc.columbia.edu on or before March 15. A $5.00 processing fee may be deducted from your refund, which will be issued 3–4 weeks after the conference. CAPSEE is unable to honor any refund requests received after March 15.

If, after registering, you find you are unable to attend, you are welcome to send a colleague in your place at no additional charge. Please notify CAPSEE by email if you wish to transfer your registration to a colleague, and include the colleague’s email address.

CAPSEE assumes no liability in the event that the conference is canceled, rescheduled, or postponed, and is not responsible for any nonrefundable transportation, accommodation, or other costs incurred by registrants. Badge sharing, splitting, and reprints are strictly prohibited.

Where will lunch and breakfast be served?

Lunch and breakfast will be served in the Presidential Ballroom, on the Capital Hilton’s second floor.

How can I download the conference mobile app?

A mobile app for CAPSEE’s conference is available via Guidebook. Visit http://guidebook.com/g/n5fbvgce and enter your cell phone number, and you will receive a text message with a link to download the app.

The app is available for both iOS and Android. A web version is also available.

I can't attend the conference. How do I watch the livestream?

CAPSEE will be livestreaming the keynote and plenary sessions on April 6–7 on our livestream page.
